What do I need to know about Virtual Organizing?

It is a way for an experienced, caring organizer on the other side of the world to help you regain time, space, and peace of mind using your computer, tablet, or phone.

Mona Brantley is a professional organizer who worked for over five years as an organizer providing real solutions to her clients’ challenges. Recently, Mona has rejoined the organizing world as a Certified Virtual Organizer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Her virtual clients are clients who are motivated and ready for a change. They are comfortable using basic technology, nothing fancy required! They must be physically able to do the hands-on parts themselves or have someone they can rely on for the physical part.

Because virtual organizing is usually done in shorter sessions of one hour to two hours, it is easier to schedule around your need. Ideally, we would meet two to three times a week, but that will be decided as part of your individual plan.

Virtual Organizing is perfectly suited for reducing your challenges into smaller projects. We can work on specific areas in your home (closets, kitchens, playrooms and much more) or specific areas in your office (paperwork, effective desktop, and strategies for productivity). We can even work on time management or any other part of your life that creates challenges.

How do we get started?

We schedule a zoom meeting to discuss virtual organizing and your goals. If we agree that virtual organizing is a good fit for you, we schedule a one-hour Zoom session to start work.

After our first Zoom session, we will tweak any issues and schedule more sessions at your convenience.

We work until the first project is accomplished. We celebrate your success and then move on to another project if you are ready. The number of sessions per project depends on the scope of the project and the work you do between sessions.

Virtual Organizing Rates

Virtual Organizing will be billed at $60 per hour with a minimum of one hour per session.  Packages can be bought in advance and must be used within 6 months.

Virtual organizing with a Certified Virtual Organizer for 4 hours: a $240 value for $200, a savings of $40. This is typically enough time to finish one project depending on the scope of the project.

 

Virtual organizing with a Certified Virtual Organizer for 8 hours: a $480 value for $400, a savings of $80. This is typically enough time to finish two shorter projects or one longer project depending on the scope of the project
